Genesis 40 looks like a prison story,
but it is actually a story of proven faithfulness.
Joseph does not speak about himself.
He speaks about God.
The dreams are interpreted accurately,
and the interpretations are fulfilled exactly.
Yet Joseph remains in prison.
He is forgotten by people.
This chapter teaches us a crucial truth:
God’s work does not depend on human memory.
Even human forgetfulness
cannot delay God’s plan.
Joseph’s story is not stalled—
it is being precisely prepared for what comes next.
