Reaction on the Book of Habakkuk
Habakkuk’s Reaction
From the very beginning of this book, Habakkuk begins with grumbling and complaining to God. He said to God that “Why you are is so silent and not hearing to my prayer and request in the midst of all the wrong doing and evil deed of this wicked people”. But every time that he had questioned to God, God gave an answer to him, God said to him that “I am the God of control and everything in under my guidance, and there will be a time for a judgment for both wicked and the righteous. Eventually the righteous will rise and the wicked will fall”. After hearing God’s answer, Habakkuk understands the plan of God and do submit to His will. In the last chapter of this book, he prayed a powerful prayer of submission and he was amazed by the work of God.
Personal Reaction
There are many times in our lives that we do not understand the plan and will of God. Because the God that what we worship is Holy, righteous and living God. He is omniscience God that He knows each and every single step of our lives. And yet when we see through the other people live, we felt that why God is not taking any action to wicked people and to their deeds. But our God go beyond our dream and our thought. He always does the best for us, guide us, feed to us, and protect to us. Above all He took a serious action on wicked people.
